VIDEO IDEAS FOR SMALL BUSINESSES

Video content is a powerful tool for small businesses to engage with their audiences and facilitate online traffic. There are many different types of content to create and it can be overwhelming to decide where to start. If you're like me, I'll scroll TikTok or Instagram looking for ideas and then get lost in all the content I forget why I opened the app to begin with! So I thought I'd share some of the most popular video ideas I see on my scrolling sessions that any small business can create with their phone camera and good lighting.


1. Behind the Scenes Sneak Peeks

Give your audience a look at your production process, introduce team members, or show how the product is made. These videos add a personal touch which gives your brand or business a more authentic feel. Something your audience can connect to, fostering trust and loyalty.


2. Product Demonstrations and Tutorial

These videos highlight the unique features of your product or service, or explains how it can solve your customers own problems and crush their own goals. A personalized step-by-step guide may help someone decide if the product or service is right for them before investing.


3. Customer Testimonials and Success Stories

Reach out to your loyal customers and ask if they would be willing to share their positive experiences with your products or services on camera, or you can find creative ways to share written testimonials in a video format if they don't want to be on camera.


4. Q&A Session and Expert Advice

You can help your brands identity and prop yourself as an expert by recording a Question and Answer sessions about your product, service or the industry in general. Encourage your audience to submit questions, or take note of what people ask you frequently.


5. Storytelling and Brand Narrative

Share your brand's journey, values, and mission through compelling narratives and stories. The goal is to evoke relatable emotions with your audience and give them deeper insight into why you do what you do, creating a longer lasting impression.


Remember, It doesn't have to be overwhelming. Authenticity and creativity are key. Experiment with different ideas and make your goal consistency over perfection. All social media has a main goal is keeping people on the app so the more content you can produce the better. Have fun brainstorming and creating!
